My practice is rooted in the immediacy of the Florida landscape. Painting primarily en plein air, I use fine art oils to capture the quiet rhythms and atmospheric wonder of a world ablaze with life. I view each canvas as a window: an invitation to pause and explore the vibrant pulse our the world around us.My work is an extension of a career dedicated to the conservation of Florida's natural areas and wild spaces. Each piece is a sincere study of the land, the air, and the sea; a creative effort to interpret the restorative energy of the environments I’ve spent my career protecting.
